Disclaimer & Financial Disclosure

Transparency is the foundation of any finance platform. Here's exactly how we operate, how we make money and what you should keep in mind.

No financial advice

The information on CreditComparer is for general educational and comparison purposes only. It does not constitute investment, tax, legal or financial advice. We are not a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser. Before applying for any credit card, loan or financial product, consult a qualified professional and read the lender's most-important terms and conditions carefully.

How we make money — affiliate disclosure

CreditComparer may earn a referral commission from partner banks, NBFCs and card issuers when you successfully apply for and are issued a product through links on this site. This does not affect the interest rate, fees or terms offered to you, and you pay nothing extra. We feature both partner and non-partner products; rankings are based on objective criteria such as interest rate, fees, rewards and customer experience — not commission size.

Editorial independence

Our editorial team operates independently of business and partnership teams. No bank or lender pays for a positive review or higher rank. Comparison tables, AI recommendations and "best of" lists are driven by data and user fit — not advertising spend.

Accuracy & last-updated dates

Interest rates, fees, joining bonuses and eligibility criteria change frequently. We sync data from issuer websites and verified partners and aim to refresh within 24 hours of major changes. However, the final and binding terms are those displayed by the bank or NBFC on their application page. Please verify before signing.

Not a bank or NBFC

CreditComparer is not a bank, lending institution or RBI-regulated entity. We do not lend money, issue credit cards or hold customer funds. We are a technology platform that helps Indian consumers compare financial products.

Credit score impact

Using our comparison tools, EMI calculator and AI recommender results in a soft credit enquiry at most, which has zero impact on your CIBIL or Experian score. A hard enquiry occurs only when you formally apply with a lender.

EMI calculator & eligibility tools

Our calculators provide indicative estimates based on the inputs you provide and standard industry formulas. Actual EMI, eligibility and approval are determined solely by the lender after evaluating your full credit profile, KYC, income proof and bureau data.

Forward-looking information

Articles on our blog may reference forecasts, expected rate movements or market trends. Such information is opinion-based and may not materialise. Past performance of any financial product is not indicative of future results.

Third-party brand names

All bank names (HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, Bajaj Finserv, IDFC FIRST, LIC Housing, RBL, Kotak Mahindra, etc.), product names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and comparison purposes only. Their use does not imply endorsement of CreditComparer.

Errors & corrections

We work hard to keep information accurate but errors can occur. If you spot one, please email editorial@creditcomparer.in and we will correct it as quickly as possible.

Borrow responsibly

Credit cards and loans are powerful financial tools but carry obligations. Always borrow within your means, pay EMIs on time, keep credit utilisation below 30% and avoid stacking multiple loans. Defaulting affects your CIBIL score and future borrowing ability.
